How to make Gokul Pithe
Ingredients
Wheat flour 4 tbsps
Milk 1.0 dl
water 3.0 dl
Sugar 150 g.
cardamoms cursed 2-3
Fresh or dried coconut 5 tbsps
Sweet Condensed Milk 3 tbsps
unsalted butter 1 tbsp
Pinch of saffron
Oil or Ghee for fry
Preparations:
Take a saucepan add the water and sugar,boil it for a 10-15 minutes in a medium heat.Add the cardamoms and saffron.
Heat an other pan and add little bit of butter and fry the coconut till it turns in golden color, then after add the condensed milk and cursed cardamoms. Now divide in a small balls about 7 pieces, Press it between in your palm as a flat shape.Keep aside :)
Next step:
Take a small bowl and add the wheat flour ,milk, and butter,make a thick paste. tel it aside for 5 minutes.
Heat a oil ,dip the coconut into the paste of wheat flour and fry them in a golden color, then after add into the sugar syrup. Serve it warm or chilled :) Enjoy the yummy and very famous dish from Bengal (y)
